Whether you are a veteran off-road driver or haven’t ever hit the trails before, you will want to check out the Cross Vista. As an easy trail where no towing is required, the short drive and beautiful view from the top make this point of interest well worth it.

If you do not have an ATV or other off-road vehicle, don’t worry! The dirt road on the way to the vista is accessible by car or truck. The road initially diverges from the Colorado River, but runs right next to it as you get closer to your destination, offering a scenic view.

If you are a seasoned wheeler, ask the office about taking the back way for a more challenging route.

To get to the Cross Vista, drive underneath the I-10 and follow the main road past the Sandbowl. The cross monument is about 5 miles outside of Arizona Oasis and will be on your left hand side.

The hill to the top of the cross provides a short obstacle to test your OHV’s climbing skills. Or, park your wheels at the bottom and take the short hike up to enjoy the view.

The cross monument on the hill has a metal cowboy hat, two metal birds and a bench where you can sit and look over the Colorado River. The monument was recently erected as a memorial for Tony Blair, a gentleman from just across the border in Blythe, CA who passed away.
